I have spent over 15 years in business and almost 10 years as a CMA (Certified Management Accountant). Like a lot of people, the college degree and certification helped to propel a career, but not necessarily in my field of study. My search for the job that would truly fulfill me led to positions in accounting, for certain, but also to jobs in financial analysis, management reporting, process improvement, IT project management, and regulatory (dealing with government regulations).
In addition to my work in the corporate world, I have owned a small businesses providing business and accounting services to fellow small business owners.
My knack for solving problems, desire to help people, and knowledge of business are displayed through my work and in my writings. Today, I sometimes write to educate, promote, encourage, and serve small business. It is my hope than no small business ceases before it is ready.
